999/Change Persona

This is the section where most unsigned artists decide to write in third person to add that 'Celeb Status' Me, I'm Jack... An urban artist from up north, Rotherham (South Yorkshire) to be exact. I'm known as a versatile story teller that has an ear for catchy hooks. Over the last few years I have independently funded my musical career. I have managed to bag myself a nice big shiny blue tick on my official Facebook page, reached over 50,000 views on my videos, worked with MOBO award film makers, Oliver Brian, played at Sheffield's most successful festival, Tramlines, became the first rapper to headline The Leadmill - Sheffield, Got my face in the Exposed Magazine and The Rotherham Advertiser as well as local radio play on Sheffield Live and BBC1Xtra. Becoming Jack the Lad has put me through a self-discovery progress in working out who I am as an artist. And despite all of my achievements, I am not naive in the fact I still have a long way to go if I am to achieve a career in music.
